The main objective of this program is to study the different kinds of biological diversity of the reserve (ecological, biological, genetic and chemical) and the influence of natural and human disturbances on this diversity.
The approach followed up to now seems to work reasonably well. However there is a need for permanent field staff to do periodical sampling and some monitoring of changes throughout the year.
